In order for the EETS toll devices to be correctly registered with the respective toll operators, we need the following documents in the appropriate formatting:

  • Vehicle registration document / Registration Certificate Part I
  • Type or rating plate of the respective vehicle
  • CEMT certificate
  • Order form

Vehicle registration document / Registration Certificate Part I

The vehicle registration or registration certificate Part I must be sent together with the Vehicle type or rating plate and CEMT Certificate.

The following information must be clearly legible on the vehicle registration document or Part I of the registration certificate:

  • G
Mass of the vehicle in operation in kilograms (unladen mass - this is always lower than F1/F2/F3 and must also be filled in accordingly to the order form).
  • F1/F2
Technically permitted total mass in kg
  • F3

Technically permissible maximum laden mass of the vehicle/trailer combination in kg

-> If the F3 data cannot be found in the vehicle registration document or on the rating plate, you can                                     calculate this value as follows:
F2 (max laden weight) + O1 (permissible maximum weight of the braked trailer load) = F3 (total train weight).

Vehicle Type or rating plate:

The Vehicle Type or rating plate must be sent together with the vehicle registration or registration certificate Part I and CEMT Certificate. A type plate, also called a rating plate, is a label affixed by the manufacturer (or the responsible importer) with identifying, descriptive and classifying data.
The type or rating plate is usually located in the door frame on the driver or passenger side.

Important: If all the classifying data are written in the vehicle registration document / Registration certificate Part 1, it is not necessary to send us the vehicle type or rating plate.

CEMT- Certification:

The CEMT Certification must be sent together with the vehicle registration or registration certificate Part I and Vehicle Type or rating plate.

The CEMT-Certification is a control document for freight traffic within the CEMT area. The CEMT-Certification proves the EURO class of the vehicle.

Important: If the EURO class is written in the vehicle registration document / Registration certificate Part 1, it is not necessary to send us the CEMT – Certification.

For EETS-OBU orders, the above-mentioned documents (vehicle registration, vehicle type plate or rating plate and CEMT Certificate) must be put together in one PDF file (max. 2 MB) for each vehicle. Please ensure that the document is provided legibly and in the correct orientation (horizontal, not rotated by 90 ° or 180 °).

It is important to ensure that the documents in the PDF file are in the correct order:

1. Vehicle registration / registration certificate Part I

2. Vehicle type or rating plate

3. CEMT Certificate

The PDF file of the documents put together in the correct order - for each vehicle - must be named (without special characters) as follows (Kennzeichen_inkl_CEMT), e.g. LL110JL_inkl_CEMT
